This will be the first of our ongoing workshops around creating the little details, the interesting pieces, and the how did K.MARIE do that on some of my original pieces and that have been incorporated into workshops too!
I love using things that I already have (and I have a lot of fun things) which means that there will be an interesting variety of treasure on the table = this workshop is from 11-1 pm if you would like to keep creating you can use the time from 1-4 pm as studio time. I am including the "first hour" link in this post as well. So to recap you will register for the Workshop, and if you want to continue after the scheduled time, then please purchase the "first hour" of studio time I will be pulling out templates, decorative scissors, and my punches (if I can find them)
What should you bring? Detail scissors, and buttons, needle and thread
Also, you can purchase a fun container to put all of your pretty treasures and bits in!
We will begin at 10:00 am, please note we will start promptly at that time. Make it a day in Downtown Milwaukie with family, friends, or treat yourself to a fun afternoon. We will wrap up at 3:00 pm that day. There is a coffee shop next door for the am or pm caffeine lift! Remember to say "glitter" to the staff, you will receive a special K.MARIE discount on your purchase.
This is a non refundable workshop and you must be 14 years of age to attend. In the event the workshop sells out, please email us, to be added to a waitlist for a possible second session. It is a limited seat event.
Parking; Please park in the lot across the street from the Historic City Hall building (pFriem & Keeper are located there). Its a very short walk from there. Do not park in the Reliable Credit parking lot as it is private property or the 15 minute spot right in front of K.MARIE. I know its an adjustment from Milwaukie Floral, but one we will become very accustomed to in no time. If it is Sunday (during Farmers Market that runs May-October), you can park in the lot across from Milwaukie City Hall or on the street. There is also a lot behind my old building. Don't forget the Farmer's Market opens at 8:30 am and its always fun to shop the market early....you always get the prettiest produce and plants.
If at anytime you have questions about the workshop please email me.
